• Bayern Munich and Real Madrid draw 2-2 in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal clash.
• Vinicius Junior gave the Spaniards the lead at half-time but Leroy Sane levelled eight minutes into the second period. Harry Kane gave the Germans the lead four minutes later before Vinicius bagged a second to level the tie from the spot.
• The Germans beat Arsenal in the quarterfinals to reach the last four while the Spaniards beat Manchester City.
• Bayern’s Bundesliga defence in Germany was ended by Bayer Leverkusen two weeks ago. Madrid are 14 points clear of Girona at the top of LaLiga.
• Borussia Dortmund host Paris Saint-Germain in the other last-four tie on Wednesday.
